| Installing Fonts on a Macintosh | |
Step 1 (Decompressing Downloaded Files)
All of the fonts found on 1001fonts.com are packaged in either SIT (*.sit) or HQX (*.hqx) archives, which may also include author and copyright information next to the actual font file. Before installing a font, you must extract the font archive to some place on your harddrive using a tool like StuffIt Expander.
Step 2 (Actual Installation)
These instructions assume that you are running System 7 or higher.

| 1. | Locate the font file(s) from step 1 (TrueType fonts will be named something like coolfont.ttf -- PostScript fonts are made up of two files, one called something like coolfont.bmp and another called coolfont) |
| 2. | Drag the font file(s) into your System Folder. |
