i like it, it works really well in making the Matrix background... it looks very much like the code on the movie posters for Enter the Matrix and The Matrix... i don't think it's supposed to be japanese, it's a code, as it says in the title...

I think it looks a lot more like either katakana or hiragana than the matrix code characters do. It'd also be nicer without the repeats of some of the characters at different sizes.

Yes, these are Japanese katakana characters, and yes, they are written correctly... Unlike in the Matrix code, where they are actually reversed (as in a mirror).

It's katakana all right. The preview, romanized, reads "iwokekyosu ieue." The font's syllables, in order, are: w(o), a, i, u, e, o, ya, yu, yo, tsu, n, a, i, u, e, o, ka, ki, ku, ke, ko, sa, shi, su, se, so
