 Can't get fonts
installed. FAQ on site outdated/dead links.

General DiscussionHi, I can't seem to get my fonts installed. Went to Help/FAQ. Tried to download some of the tools it recommended. Links for ZipGenius and BigSpeedZipper were both dead, so I went with 7-Zip and extracted all the files. I followed instructions for Windows. I go to file, Install New Fonts, follow all instructions on pop up window... but when I pull up the folder with the extracted fonts, it can't see them. Says No Fonts Found. What am I doing wrong?

I noticed there is another page with instructions if you're using Windows XP. Since this is, in fact, the system I'm using, I clicked on that link to see if there was anything I missed. That link was also dead. What's up with all the dead links?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks! -Rose

Posted by katie.rowlett on Sunday, October 04th, 2009 at 04:20 AM CEST
General DiscussionNot sure if you can view the picture below. The font I'm looking for is of lettering in a photo I took so I could match it. I really need help identifying this font so I can order letter stickers to match. The "A" above the words is a 2" Helvetica letter I used for reference. I'm looking for the font of the letters below.

If you cannot see the picture below, please email me so I can send you the picture directly. I really appreciate it, font experts!

A font from several years ago...
Posted by ashleyanderson on Sunday, July 12th, 2009 at 02:39 AM CEST
General DiscussionAnyone know the name of a font from several years ago (I know I used it in 1999-2000) that looked a lot like the Jokerman font, but had simpler letter shapes with more emphasis on the dashes and dots that surrounded each letter? For some reason I THINK it might have started with a C (Confetti maybe?) but I'm not sure about that at all. Any help would be much appreciated!
