 1001fonts is an awesome site, but I would love to be able to preview new fonts from the home with maybe a mouseover or something. With so many fonts to work through it would be great to have something a that makes viewing the newest ones easier :)(1 reply | reply to this message)

I may be new here, and I don't consider myself any kind of font or typesetting expert, quite the opposite. But I thought that a serif was a kind of tail added to the character designs. So I was a little surprised to see Alex (font ID 3294) listed while browsing through the "Sans Serif" fonts because to me it has serifs.
Of course this maybe because I don't completely understand what a serif is, and if so I need educating. So it Alex miss categorised, is my understanding of a serif incorrect, or is there something else I've missed? Thanks for any help on this.(3 replies | reply to this message)

Why are they making you click on custom preview and type in a sentence to preview the font?? could it just be my browser im on fire fox. but this just seems like a rediculous nonsensical change, it'll take hours and hours to preview all the fonts i couldve viewed in 10 minutes before.. any thoughts??
