About
BazBaran (بازباران, RainAgain) font family represents my inaugural endeavor to materialize the proposed perso-arabic writing system. Diverging from conventional Arabic fonts, all five styles within this font family are designed with disconnected letterforms. The shapes of the capitalized (Isolated) letters have been modified to achieve a more unified and aesthetically pleasing visual effect.
The bazbaran LP (Less Point) light denotes the dot-reduced version, wherein glyphs containing two or more dots are substituted with new dotless shapes. It is important to note that, with the exception of the bazbaran light style, all other styles utilize the reduced dots alphabet.
The bazbaran MC (Mixed Case) light emulates Latin fonts, enabling typists to toggle between lowercase and uppercase letters through a software Caps Lock key. This software Caps Lock feature can be activated or deactivated by entering the Tatweel letter. more…
The final two styles consist of the Small Caps (bazbaran SC light) and All Caps (bazbaran AC light) versions within this font family.
For additional font styles associated with this family, kindly consult the baz font family.
