Hi, I've only downloaded two fonts from www.1001fonts.com and both do not support letters like č ž š

Is there any way to identify fonts that do support those letter?

And what if I really like a certain font and it does not support them. Would contacting an author and ask him/her to add that functionality would be a good idea?

Hi M4j4,

You are in luck, because there is a way to filter fonts at 1001fonts, to only show fonts with support for specific characters. For your case look here:

www.1001fonts.com/?text=%C4%8D+%C5%BE+%C5%A1&subset=1

Note that "č ž š" is included in the preview text and most important, the crosshair-icon just to the right of your preview text is activated. From there on you can browse the site as usual.

Contacting the author about missing characters s a great idea and I could well imagine, that many author's would be willing to add missing characters.

I hope this helps.
