Jackwrite Font Family

Legend has it that Jack Daw used a portable proportional typewriter on the road; handcrafted from parts of other typewriters. This font mimics how its output maybe was.

Technically Jackwrite uses 92 types, each in 9 variations, from Fredrick Brennan’s hyperrealistic, multilingual typewriter font TT2020 and turns them into a proportional font by definings spaces (kerning) between each type pair.

NOTE: This is a proportional font, not a monospaced font, see the first illustration (gray background). Only notable exception is Windows (except in all modern web browsers), e.g. MS Word renders Jackwrite monospaced and without the 9 variations...
