The Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) is an official body under the ICT Division of the Government of Bangladesh focused on national digital transformation. Through the EBLICT Project, the BCC develops high-quality Unicode fonts to ensure that indigenous scripts like Chakma are fully supported in modern education and technology. By releasing these official typefaces under the SIL Open Font License, the BCC provides free tools for ethnic communities to preserve their linguistic heritage and share their culture with the global digital world.
