zan Font Family

Zan (زن, Woman “stands in solidarity with the global women's rights movement”) comprises a supportive font family tailored for the zendegi, featuring four unique styles. The initial two styles, zan regular and zan LP regular, reflect classical Arabic typefaces. In all styles, the capitalized (Isolated) letters have been modified from their traditional horizontally extended shape to a vertically extended configuration. This change has been implemented to create a visually cohesive appearance that is particularly appropriate for horizontal text composition.

The zan LP (Less Point) regular is the only dot-reduced style in this font family, where glyphs with two or more dots are replaced with a new dotless shape.

The zan MC (Mixed Case) regular font effectively emulates Latin typographic styles, enabling users to switch between lowercase (Initial) and uppercase (Isolated) letters via a software Caps Lock key.
