zanjir Font Family

Zanjir (زنجیر, Chain) is the twin font family to the zanjirbof. The initial two styles within this font family, zanjir regular and zanjir LP, adhere to traditional Arabic conjoint font conventions. Furthermore, the shapes of the capitalized (isolated) letters have been adjusted to create a more cohesive aesthetic

The zanjir LP (Less Point) denotes the dot-reduced version, wherein glyphs containing two or more dots are substituted with new dotless shapes.

The zanjir MC (Mixed Case) mimics Latin fonts, allowing typists to select between lowercase and uppercase letters using a software Caps Lock key. This software Caps Lock feature can be activated or deactivated by entering the Tatweel letter. more…

The last two styles are Small Caps (zanjir SC) and All Caps (zanjir AC) versions of this font family.

This font family is inspired by the Radio 178.5 bold style.
