zendegi Font Family

Zendegi (زندگی, Life) is noteworthy for being the first unicase font in the Perso-Arabic script. This pioneering design has been made feasible by the ARTIN writing system, which enables the implementation of this distinctive typography style.

In contrast to traditional Arabic fonts, all four styles within this family exhibit disconnection. Moreover, the capitalized (Isolated) letters have been modified from their conventional horizontally extended form to a vertically extended configuration. This alteration aims to establish a cohesive appearance that is particularly well-suited for horizontal writing.

The zendegi LP (Less Point) regular denotes the dot-reduced version, wherein glyphs containing two or more dots are substituted with new dotless shapes. It is important to note that, with the exception of the zendegi regular style, all other styles utilize the reduced dots alphabet.

The zendegi MC (Mixed Case) regular font effectively emulates Latin typographic styles, enabling users to switch between lowercase (Initial) and uppercase (Isolated) letters via a software Caps Lock key.
